Francisco Javier Sanchez Angulo - Long Time Sun (BandHub collab)

Mon, 30 Dec 2019 11:00:58 +0000

The "Long Time Sun" is a classical Mantra which is chosen sometimes to finish each session of kundalini yoga. The music in this multilingual version of the song is original, and the vocals feature verses sung in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Romanian. I chose to put Javier's name in the title, as he's the one who started the collab. The following musicians joined him:

Masoizig - English Vocals
Javier - Bass, Guitar & Spanish Vocals
MzMieux - French Vocals
AlexS - Italian Vocals
RineWolve - Romanian Vocals
taye6 - Drums
Protis - Keys
brunopcl - Guitar

The audio was mixed by Javier, and he gave me his blessing to upload it to my channel. He has plans to make his own video for it though, which will naturally differ from mine. This really is a beautiful song, and Javier's mix makes it even better. I've always really liked hearing songs in different languages, despite not being able to understand what's being sung most of the time. This is an international collaboration by Protis & BandHub musicians.

English:

May the long time sun Shine upon you,
All love surround you,
And the pure light within you
Guide your way on

--------------
Spanish:

Que el eterno sol te ilumine,
Que el amor te rodee,
y la luz pura interior,
guíe tu camino,

--------------

French:

Que le soleil t’entoure de splendeur
Et l’amour comble tes journées
Que cette lumière vive qui t’habi-te
Illumine les pas de ton chemin

--------------

Italian:

Che il Sole ti illumini sempre,
l’Amore ti circondi
e la Pura Luce dentro di Te
guidi il Tuo Cammino.

--------------

Romanian:

Fie ca Soarele sa te lumineze
si iubirea sa te inconjoare
iar stralucirea curata din tine
sa-ti arate calea.

Kristen Wilson - They Ain't Gonna Change (BandHub collab)

Mon, 30 Dec 2019 10:59:07 +0000

BandHub is not only used for cover songs, but original content as well. A user from Canada called kristen08 has several self-penned songs on that site alone, and this collab is one of them. It was a great honour for me to finally collaborate with her, as she has so much talent for someone so young! The following musicians contributed to this fine original number:

kristen08 - Main Vocal
Protis - Keys
Pliolite - Guitars & Backing Vocal
ACourrier - Bass
marcosgc - Drums

The audio was mixed by myself in FL Studio, and was in fact complete when my external hard drive broke down. About a month passed before I was successfully able to retrieve all the files on it, which was very lucky indeed! I am just so glad that I didn't end up losing any data. Full credit goes to Kristen Wilson for writing this song, and sharing it with the BandHub community. I look forward to working on more collabs like this in the future.
